Finding work

Arbetsförmedlingen [The Public Employment Agency] is responsible for helping newly arrived persons and jobseekers to find employment. Both work and education can lead to employment. One good condition for finding employment is to learn Swedish and train for a profession in which there is a labour shortage.

Arbetsförmedlingen’s website lists available jobs. Many people also find work through traineeships or personal contacts.
